Role Summary:

The Conversion Funnel Strategist (CRO Specialist) will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing the full customer funnel — from ad click to final enrollment or purchase. You will use behavioral analytics, A/B testing, UX improvements, and datadriven decision-making to increase lead-to-signup, signup-to-call, and call-to-close conversions. This role is critical to support monthly targets like 10,000 leads and 3,000+ closures across multiple courses and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Funnel Design & Optimization

  • Map out the complete conversion funnel for each program (MBBS, AI,
    Cybersecurity, etc.)
  • Identify drop-off points across stages:
    o Landing page visits
    o Lead form fill
    o WhatsApp click-through
    o Telecaller response
    o Payment/enrollment
  • Define KPIs for each funnel step and optimize continuously

Landing Page & Form Conversion

  • Work with designers and copywriters to create high-converting:
    o Landing pages (20%+ conversion)
    o Multi-step forms (reduced friction)
    o Lead magnets and CTAs
  • A/B test headlines, visuals, CTA placements, form layouts, etc.

User Behavior & Analytics

  • Use tools like:
    o Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
    o Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity (for session recordings and heatmaps)
    o Funnel.io / Mixpanel / Amplitude (optional)
  • Create event tracking and UTM structures for complete attribution

Performance Audit & Reporting

  • Build weekly reports for:
    o Page-wise bounce rate
    o Time on page
    o Form abandonment
    o Click-to-call and click-to-WhatsApp ratios
  • Recommend corrective actions to teams for faster improvement

CRO Tools & Experiments

  • Design and manage A/B, multivariate, and split tests
  • Use tools like:
    o Google Optimize (or alternatives)
    o Unbounce, Instapage, or custom-built CMS/LP tools
  • Document experiment results and deploy learnings across all funnels

Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
    o Performance Marketing Team (for aligned campaigns)
    Telecalling/CRM Team (to track lead quality and engagement)
    o Tech/Dev Team (for integrations and tracking pixel setup)
    Design & Content (for page assets and messaging)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing, UX, Psychology, or related field

  • Certifications in CRO, Google Analytics, and UX Writing a plus
  • Minimum 4 years experience working with performance-driven websites or EdTech funnels
  • Experience with WhatsApp automation, telecall + CRM tracking is a big advantage
