Job Title: Senior Telecaller / Telecounselor – Training & Placement Programs
Experience Required: 4 to 6 Years

Department: Sales / Counseling / Placement Coordination
Language Proficiency: English + Hindi + Telugu/Kannada (as applicable)
Job Summary:
A high-performing and well-connected telecounselor who can engage, counsel, and convert potential candidates for training programs in high-demand technologies (AI, Cybersecurity, Data Science, DevOps, etc.) and drive placements. The counselor must understand the industry demands and speak confidently about job opportunities, technologies, and career paths.**
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Calling and Conversion
- Make 120–150 quality calls per day to prospective students/graduates/professionals.
- Convert leads into admissions/registrations with personalized career counseling.
- Follow structured CRM workflow: call → counsel → follow-up → close.
- Identify hot/warm/cold leads and prioritize accordingly.
- Maintain strong call quality and follow the approved scripts and objection handling templates.
Career Counseling & Domain Knowledge
- Explain clearly the career scope in AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Full Stack, Digital Marketing, etc.
- Match the right program to the candidate’s background (B.Tech, B.Com, MBA, Diploma, etc.).
- Provide accurate information on course structure, job roles, average salaries, and company tie-ups.
- Guide students toward the most employable path based on their current skill level.
Target Achievement & Reporting
- Achieve monthly and weekly targets:
o Daily: 8–12 conversions
o Monthly: 150–200 admissions/placements closures - Track leads, call logs, and status updates using Google Sheets or CRM systems.
- Share daily reports on number of calls made, interested candidates, and closures.
- Update lead funnel status: New → Engaged → Converted → Onboarded.
Graduate Network Engagement
- Leverage personal and professional graduate networks (colleges, alumni, previous trainees).
- Build WhatsApp/Telegram communities for ongoing outreach.
- Organize micro-seminars/webinars with your connections to generate warm leads.
- Refer and invite candidates from colleges you are associated with.
Communication Excellence
- Use persuasive and professional communication over phone and WhatsApp/email.
- Build trust and rapport quickly with candidates and parents.
- Maintain high conversion rate from inquiries to enrollments using empathy and clarity.
- Use storytelling: share success stories of placed candidates to increase enrollments.
CRM Discipline & Candidate Management
- Use CRM tools (Leadsquared, Zoho CRM, Hubspot, or Excel-based tracker).
- Update notes, call outcomes, and status after every interaction.
- Avoid lead leakage or delays in follow-up – close within 24–48 hrs of inquiry.
Market Research & Feedback
- Gather information on graduate expectations, course pricing, competitors, and job trends.
- Report feedback to the product/training team for better course alignment.
- Identify popular job roles and upcoming industry demands from student conversations.
- Key Requirements: Must-Have Skills:
- 4–6 years of proven success in counseling/telecalling in EdTech, Skill Training, Staffing, or College Marketing.
- Good technical awareness in trending technologies (AI, DevOps, Data Science, etc.)
- Deep local knowledge of colleges, job-seeking youth, and hiring trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and regional language.
- Strong follow-up discipline and target-oriented attitude.
