Team Operations Manager – Training, Tele calling, and Placement
Experience Required: 5 to 10 years

Job Summary:

The Team Operations Manager is responsible for leading and driving the daily operations of tele calling, counseling, target closures, candidate onboarding, and placement delivery. The manager will ensure efficient workflows, strict discipline, and high conversion from
leads to training to placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Telecalling Operations Management

  • Manage, supervise, and drive performance of 20–100+ telecallers and coordinators.
  • Ensure daily calling KPIs (calls made, connections, follow-ups, closures) are met.
  • Set weekly and monthly conversion targets for training registrations and placement bookings.
  • Implement CRM discipline and accurate reporting of telecalling activity.
  • Lead daily morning briefings and end-of-day reviews.

Target Planning & Closures

  • Design monthly/weekly targets aligned with business goals (e.g., 1000 closures/month).
  • Track lead pipeline, follow-ups, hot/warm/cold status updates.
  • Convert leads into registered candidates with aggressive but ethical sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with digital team for daily fresh lead flow and reactivation of old leads.
  • Implement offer strategies, discounts, or urgency triggers to boost conversions.

Team Hiring, Training, & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and train telecallers and field counselors as per project scale.
  • Conduct induction, script training, objection handling, and daily skill-up sessions.
  • Identify poor performers and implement improvement plans or exits.
  • Maintain a healthy work environment with strict time and performance discipline.

Training & Placement Integration

  • Understand all training modules and their job alignment (AI, Cybersecurity, Design, etc.).
  • Coordinate with training team to track student progress, batch schedules, and readiness.
  • Ensure placement team receives job-ready candidates every week/month.
  • Track placement records and ensure minimum success ratios (e.g., 70–80% placed).
  • Address employer and candidate issues in the placement lifecycle.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports (telecaller performance, closures, revenue).
  • Use Google Sheets/CRM dashboards to track metrics like:
    o Calls made vs leads converted
    o Batch-wise closures
    o Training to Placement success rate
  • Present performance reviews to management weekly.

Discipline, Escalations & Conflict Handling

  • Maintain strict time, communication, and work discipline across the team.
  • Escalate operational delays or candidate issues immediately.
  • Resolve internal conflicts or customer dissatisfaction within 24 hours.

Coordination with Stakeholders

  • Collaborate with digital marketing, content, HR, trainers, and placement officers.
  • Manage communication with parents/students when needed for trust building.
  • Coordinate with B2B clients or companies for bulk hiring needs. Required Skills & Competencies
  • Proven track record of managing high-pressure target environments
  • Strong leadership, discipline enforcement, and team motivation
  • Excellent spoken and written English, Telugu/Hindi/Local language
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills + familiarity with CRMs (Leadsquared, Zoho, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in training + placement operations
  • Sales funnel knowledge – lead qualification, follow-up, closing
  • Strong time management and ability to multitask Bonus Qualities (Preferred)
  • Experience working in EdTech, Skill Development, Staffing, or BPO
  • Exposure to Govt projects (Skill India, PMKVY, etc.)
  • Experience with rural/urban youth employment programs
